This project involved the full renovation and rear addition of a 1904 traditional American single-family home. The design approach focused on preserving the original architectural character of the house while extending its footprint toward the rear to improve spatial quality, functionality, and overall livability.

The addition allowed the home to gain a more generous and connected layout, particularly in the shared living areas, where the kitchen and dining spaces were expanded to create a brighter, more open, and comfortable environment. The upper floor also benefited from the extension, gaining additional space and improved proportions for the private areas.

A significant structural scope was required to support the new addition and integrate it seamlessly with the existing construction. The renovation also included a complete update of materials, windows, exterior finishes, and the front porch, maintaining the historic charm of the original 1904 architecture while adapting the house to contemporary family living.
