This Barcelona apartment renovation reclaims the character of an existing structure and transforms it into a warm, highly functional living environment. The project works with the original vaulted ceilings, exposed brick walls, and street-level façade, allowing the existing architecture to become an active part of the interior experience.

A restrained palette of black steel, textured glass, wood, ceramic surfaces, and warm lighting defines a sequence of connected spaces with clear domestic purpose. Rather than concealing the building’s imperfections, the design frames them with precise new interventions, creating a balanced dialogue between history, intimacy, and contemporary living.
